On October 13th , 2012 the power and signal at Channel A of the Kerisi/Hiu subsea control system tripped on low LIM (Line Insulation Monitoring). On August 26th 2013 Channel B tripped for the same reason. COPI chose to override the LIM in order to keep the wells producing while carrying out diagnostic tests on the Kerisi CPP. The tests concluded that the problem was located on the subsea section of the control system.
Therefore OSI carried out subsea controls system repair as per client instruction . OSI utilized DPII DSV Crest Odyssey 1 saturation diving.
